Dustin and Sam return to talk a 1-1 week of Cougar men's basketball that featured the high of a historically dominant win over ECU and the lows of a road loss to a non-vintage Memphis team. In addition, the guys look ahead to a road show down with hated rival SMU and senior day vs basket case UConn. To get a better perspective on the enigma that is present day Husky hoops, we talked to Daniel Connolly of TheUConnBlog.com.

Once again the Pawdcast was on the road this week as Dustin took in Cougar baseball's series at Cal State Fullerton and the guys talk about the weekend series games and important takeaways from those games. In addition, they take a quick look at the upcoming Shriner's College Classic and a daunting weekend of SEC Foes.

Finally, Cougar track & field won their 4th men's indoor title in a row and look ahead to the NCAA Championships. The guys also talk about a close, hard-fought women's basketball loss on Senior Day to UCF and the general sunny outlook we have on that program. Also, Cougar softball opened their home slate with a mostly dominant weekend in the Hilton Invitational. AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, Cougar Tennis gets a shot at a conference foe and a chance to extend their absurdly hot start.

The Cougar men's basketball team had a massive week, beating #5 Cincinnati at home and demolishing Temple on the road. This vaulted Houston into the top 25 and locked up their invitation to the NCAA tournament. Now the Coogs look to stay locked in against some lesser competition this week.

Plus baseball opened its season by narrowly avoiding a painful series loss to Holy Cross, with the pitching staff piling up the strikeouts, and Cooper Coldiron providing the Sunday heroics.

The Swimming & Diving team repeated as American Athletic Conference champions, giving UH its first conference title of 2017-18. Plus women's hoops picked up a milestone win, softball & tennis had a mixed bag of a week, and golf kicked off its Spring schedule.

In one of our most jam-packed episodes ever, UH men's hoops escapes with a win vs SMU and then flattens Tulane. This week they prepare for two rock fights, including a rematch vs Cincinnati.

Plus, Cougar baseball opens its season this week! We talk to our friend and UH baseball alum Bubba Maxwell to help us preview the season, including this weekend's series with Holy Cross.

Not to mention, Cougar softball opened their season with an impressive 3-1 showing vs P5 foes, and women's hoops went 1-1 as they head down the home stretch.

Finally, track set another program record, swimming & diving is heading to the AAC championships, and tennis got two road wins to stay undefeated.

It wasn't the prettiest 80 minutes of basketball in Cougar history, but Corey Davis helped lead the Coogs to a split of their two road games from the past week. Can they take care of business at home to lock up a tournament bid?

They'll have two chances to do so at H&PE Arena this week as they host SMU and Tulane. We'll talk about just how badly we want to beat the Ponies, and why we expect two big wins this week.

Plus, the women's basketball team was in top form, with two blowout wins this past week, AND Elijah Hall set another track program record!
