The Cougar baseball team had a big week, going 5-0 including a sweep of Memphis to open AAC play. We break it all down, plus scout this week's Silver Glove opener against Rice, and road series at Cincinnati.
Meanwhile the track team continued to dominate, setting program records and NCAA-best times across a variety of events.
Plus the softball team had a successful start to AAC play, and tennis continued its wildly successful 2018 campaign.
The guys are now both back in the 'Terra Firma' of Texas to discuss in review the best Cougar men's basketball season in 34 years, reviewing the season that was and taking a look ahead at the future of this team. In addition the guys take a look at the women's basketball team's WNIT exit to South Dakota and what the future of that program looks like after Ronald Hughey's first 'proof of concept' season.
The guys are back with a quick reaction to Houston's heart-breaking, buzzer-beating loss to Michigan in the NCAA tournament. We talk through the pain to try and get some perspective on how far this program has come, and how bright the future is.
Oh hey, the the boys are back in town (well different towns) and with an eventful and successful final week of the regular season of Cougar men's basketball to discuss. The AAC Tournament and likely opponent UCF are previewed with an eye on how that impacts the remaining postseason. On a less positive note, the guys try and struggle to find positives after an 0-3 weekend at the Shriner's College Classic against 3 SEC foes. Oh and the guys also talk softball, tennis and some women's basketball postseason honors.
