What a week to be alive and covering Cougar sports!
Cougar Track sweeps the men's sprint relay events at the Penn Relays (plus some individual honors) and did more great stuff at the Drake Relays and Texas A&M Alumni Muster.
There was an abundance of Cougars beginning their professional careers on the football side of things too, as Ed Oliver was drafted 9th overall by the Buffalo Bills. We also talk the abundance of other Cougars who were drafted/signed by NFL teams.
It was an eventful weekend for the bat/ball sports as well. Cougar softball went 3-1 against a tricky slate of opponents and baseball was humbled by a road trip to Tampa.

Plus, the women's golf team finished up a ludicrously dominant performance at AAC championships to win their 3rd conference title in 4 years.
Not to mention, men's hoops stayed hot on the recruiting trail, picking up its first commitment of the 2020 class, and besting teams from the SEC, Big 12, and Pac 12 to do so. Guess who's back (back again)
Guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back.
Okay I'll stop doing this Eminem bit and get to the dang episode description! The guys return and are absurdly excited to discuss the imminent official announcement of Kelvin Sampson spurning other openings and signing an extension to remain basketball coach at the University of Houston. What that means long term for the program and what the roster looks like going forward are discussed in depth.
Football also welcomes a couple of high-impact transfers to the fold, Volleyball brings in a well-credentialed new head coach (#RehrYallAt), Track & Field has a big weekend at the Texas Relays (plus some unexpected publicity) and much, much more!
