Cougar track sent their fair share of athletes to the NCAA West Prelims in Sacramento and had a number of great performances and one notably heartbreaking moment that we talk about in detail from this past weekend.
There was also a frustrating trip to Clearwater, Florida that Cougar baseball undertook that ultimately undid the postseason hopes of the hardballers.

The Cougar softball team made an inspired run in the Austin regional this past week before ultimately coming up just shy of advancing to Super Regionals. We got a first-hand look at the team's fantastic effort, and how their season ultimately came to an end.
The track & field program is getting ready for national prelims this week, and we're breaking down Houston's unbelievable sprinting dominance, as well as which other events the Coogs need to perform well in to set themselves up for Nationals.
And the baseball team ended its regular season in disappointing fashion, but now heads to the conference tournament, where the Coogs have often played their best baseball in recent years. Can they salvage a regional appearance with another strong showing in Clearwater?

Cougar track & field had a surprisingly drama-filled trip to the American Athletic Conference track & field outdoor championships in Wichita this weekend. Of course we discuss how the Cougars grabbed their 4th straight men's outdoor track & field championship and what lies ahead in NCAA prelims and championships.
As the Houston area got pounded by rain the Cougar bat/ball sports (with differing levels of success) tried to play around torrential downpours. We discuss softball's postseason trip to Austin to take on a few in-state foes and baseball is on the doorstep of their own postseason trip.
