What's better than 1 episode in a row where we interview a UH head coach?! Very little, but we'd hazard a guess that 2 episodes in a row with a UH head coach fits the bill.

To that end, we had on Cougar swimming & diving head coach Ryan Wochamurka. How did Wochamurka get into coaching swimming? How do you build a program that wins 4 straight conference titles? We pick the brain of a great coach for the 2nd straight week.

There was also news aplenty with Cougar football alum Josh Jones getting selected in last weekend's NFL draft by the Cardinals and Patrick Carr getting an undrafted FA deal with the Seahawks.

Plus, Cougar men's basketball and baseball roster movement!

When you get the chance to talk to a successful UH head coach, you jump at it, so we're thrilled to bring your our interview with UH volleyball coach David Rehr, coming off an impressive first year in charage. He gives his remarkable coaching backstory, goes behind the scenes on the successes and challenges of year one, and says the Coogs can be even stronger in 2020.

Plus we're catching up on the latest across Cougar-dom, from football and women's hoops making recruiting inroads, to Deeky declaring for the draft, to a UH alum heading to Canada.

Oh, and not to bum you out, but conference championships might be going away in most sports because everything sucks now.

In part 2 of our look back at the greatest Coogs of the 21st century, we created and debated our teams of the most prolific men's basketball and baseball players to don the scarlet and albino.

With the 21st Century now two decades old (and with the sports content desert very much a real thing) it's time to put our debate hats on and duke out who's the best of the best of the 2000s. Kevin Kolb or Greg Ward? Matthew Adams or Phillip Steward? And is Brandon Wilson the best Brandon to play CB for Houston? Or the best Wilson? Or both?? Or neither?!?! We have all these answers and more.

(Language warning on this one) In our annual completely off-topic and non-sports-related episode, your hosts came together to wax poetic about one of their other shared passions: 1990's alternative rock. From Radiohead to Limp Bizkit, from Depeche Mode to Blink 182, we love it all, and we talked for entirely too long about all the things we love about it.

And since we are still ostensibly a sports podcast, we did talk about Cougar football's newest addition, as well as the NCAA's ruling in regards to eligibility for athletes who lost a season to COVID-19.
