Oct 23, 2024

Mama said there'd be days like this, Cougar football follows up their most complete win with a disheartening road no show against a hungry Kansas team. Bobby and Sam break down the good and mostly bad from the 42-14 loss at Arrowhead Stadium from last Saturday in addition to the following topics:

  • The defensive wizardry and offensive inepitude of Utah football
  • What we have our eye on for the upcoming men's basketball scrimmage vs Texas A&M

  • Soccer... is almost done for 2024
  • Bobby makes the case for why YOU should be getting on the Women's Golf bandwagon right now
Oct 17, 2024

Oct 2, 2024

Unfortunately, the big story is shutout loss by Cougar football, a 20-0 defeat to the Iowa State Cyclones that saw a surplus of offensive futility and an unfortunate waste of a bounceback defensive performance. Bobby & Sam recap the ISU game, preview the TCU game with help from Jamie Plunkett of Horned Frog Blitz and the Frogs Insider podcast helps us preview the opponent and the guys also dive into these other Cougar topics:

  • Soccer scores a goal against a conference opponent and they can never take that away from us

Sep 25, 2024

In this episode we recap a number of serious allegations relayed to us by multiple sources with firsthand knowledge (players and staff) of the Houston Cougar Softball program under current head coach Kristin Vesely, in addition to related inaction by UH athletic department leadership.

May 24, 2024

I'm going to level with you, its 11:31 PM and I am having of all things, writer's block writing a show description, BUT the full compliment of pawd co-hosts had plenty to say about the following Houston Cougar topics:

  • Men's Golf comes heartbreakingly close to advancing past the Baton Rouge regionals. Looking at an end of season run to be proud of and what the future looks like with one big, probable departure
  • Track & Field leaves its first Big 12 Outdoor Championship with a lot of performances to be proud of and taking an early look at NCAA West Prelims
  • Football adds CB JD Rhym, recently of Auburn to a position group that could use a former highly recruited talent needing a fresh start
  • Women's basketball adds a couple of promising transfers, but still has some of the same questions
  • Baseball's unfortunately bad conference season mercifully ends
  • Softball sees its top 2 projected returning hitters enter the portal and a complete lack of an answer on who'll be leading this program in 2025
